The Aave Companies team behind the development of the Aave DeFi platform has rebranded, changing its name to Avara. The Block writes about this with reference to the company.

According to the announcement, Avara will become the parent organization for Aave, Lens, GHO stablecoin, Sonar and other brands.

Project head Stani Kulechov explained in a comment to Cointelegraph that the team will continue to innovate in DeFi and create tools for developers, “while offering new, intuitive and compelling products” to a broader user base.

The Aave protocol will continue to operate under the same brand through Aave Labs, he said.
