The Aave developers discovered a vulnerability in the protocol and announced that they would suspend some operations as a temporary protective measure.

The protocol has suspended Aave V2 on Ethereum; using certain Aave V2 assets on Avalanche, and also frozen some Aave V3 assets on Polygon, Arbitrum and Optimism.

All services will be restored once the problem is resolved.
