Bitcoin Core developers have assigned a specific vulnerability identifier for the instructions. When the bug is fixed BRC-20 and Ordinals will cease to exist

Bitcoin Core developer Luke Dashjr said that the specific vulnerability identifier CVE-2023-50428 was assigned to the instructions.

According to him, the instructions are using a bug in Bitcoin Core to create spam.

The error could be corrected as early as next year.

When the developers implement the fixes, the BRC-20 and Ordinals will cease to exist.

CVE provides an international system for classifying vulnerabilities.
