Former BitMEX CEO Arthur Hayes believes that BlackRock and other financial giants could kill the whole point of BTC decentralization, since such companies are “agents of the state.”

The launch of spot Bitcoin ETFs will mean that financial giants will crush the entire market, all BTC will be kept by large funds and companies, and their clients will be happy to trade “candy wrappers” on BTC.
