The Brazilian authorities have adopted a new bill on income tax on investments in crypto assets.

The document is now awaiting the president's signature.

According to the document, citizens of the country will be subject to a 15% tax on profits from $1,200 to $10,000.

If the profit exceeds this threshold, the tax will be 22.5%.
