On Monday, Take-Two Interactive $TTWO released a trailer for its highly anticipated GTA VI.

GTA VI is scheduled for release in 2025 and is expected to make a significant contribution to Take-Two's revenue, building on the success of GTA V.

GTA V is the second best-selling video game behind Minecraft and has sold more than 190 million copies since its debut in 2013.

A TweakTown study found that the GTA franchise has generated more than $8.33 billion in revenue since the release of GTA V in 2013.

In fiscal 2023, GTA product revenues will be approximately $781 million (14.6% of Take-Two Interactive's total net revenue of $5.349 billion).

This figure includes sales of various versions of GTA V, the GTA trilogy remaster and in-game purchases of Grand Theft Auto Online.
