Circle has announced that it will no longer support Circle Mint retail accounts.

Only corporate and institutional clients will be able to mint USDC.

All Circle Mint retail accounts will be closed within a month.

The company says it has long stopped allowing retail users to open Circle accounts.

However, after this announcement, USDC's capitalization fell below $25 billion and is now at its lows.
