Cryptocurrency ETP provider CoinShares has received an option to acquire competitor Valkyrie Funds, part of the Valkyrie Investments group.

The agreement expires on March 31, 2024. Valkyrie Funds will continue to operate as an independent entity until the transaction is finalized.

Financial terms are not disclosed.
