Developer Tim Beiko said that the Ethereum team will begin implementing the Dencun hard fork on test networks in the first quarter of 2024.

January 17 - Goerli; January 30 – Sepolia; February 7 - Holesky.

If successfully implemented on the testnets, Dencun will be activated on the mainnet in February.

Dencun will launch the EIP-4844 update, which will improve efficiency and reduce fees for L2 networks.
