The founder of dYdX, Antonio Giuliano, reported that the exchange and the Yearn. Finance (YFI) token were victims of a targeted attack.
dYdX was forced to use its insurance fund to cover the $9 million in liquidations.
According to Giuliano, someone was manipulating the YFI market on the exchange. An investigation is currently underway.
