Figure Technologies has filed an application with the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to issue an interest-bearing stablecoin.
If this application is approved, Figure will offer the first stablecoin regulated as a security.
In addition, the company plans to raise $50 million with the support of Jump Crypto.
