The zkSync-based project Gemholic allegedly scammed its users out of $3.5 million.

Gemholic funds were blocked for more than a year due to a contract error.

On June 7, zkSync completed an update to v24, which resolved the issue and allowed access to locked assets.

After the update, Gemholic developers brought 921 ETH to the Ethereum network.

Gemholic's X account has been deleted. The developers also cleaned up messages in Telegram.
