Hong Kong's Securities and Futures Commission is exploring the possibility of opening up access to cryptocurrency ETFs to retail investors. Currently, such ETFs are available only to institutional and professional investors.

There are currently three futures ETFs listed in Hong Kong: Samsung Bitcoin Futures Active ETF, CSOP Bitcoin Futures ETF and CSOP Ether Futures ETF.
