IBM introduced a new cold storage system for digital assets

IBM has developed a new digital asset storage solution called Hyper Protect Offline Signing Orchestrator (OSO).

OSO will be an end-to-end encryption service that operates without human intervention, in an isolated environment (without the Internet) and uses a time delay to complete the transaction.

According to IBM, such a system protects the user from physical attacks, such as forceful demands to sign a transaction or ordinary human error.
