According to NFTgators, eBay has laid off more than 30% of its Web3 team. In particular, Steph Jay, director of Web3 business, resigned.

In 2022, eBay acquired NFT platform KnownOrigin, but the relationship with it also deteriorated. KnownOrigin co-founder David Moore has been fired.

As of today, the company has suspended all digital art initiatives.
