Tether wrote a letter to US Senator Cynthia Lummis and Congressman J. French Hill, who criticized the company for using USDT for money laundering and terrorist financing.
In the letter, the company said it has connected the US Secret Service to its platform and is also working to include the FBI.
In addition, Tether collaborated with Israel's counter-terrorism financing agency NBCTF to freeze Hamas' wallets.
In total, the organization has already frozen $800 million ($70 million of which were frozen at the request of the US Department of Justice).
Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino said the company aims to become a world-class partner for the US and will expand the dollar's hegemony around the world.
