Users who downloaded the fake Ledger Live app from the Microsoft Store lost $768,000 in various cryptocurrencies. On-chain analyst ZachXBT drew attention to this.

Since October 19, the program has been distributed under the guise of a legitimate user interface for Ledger wallets that allows you to store cryptocurrencies offline.

In total, the scammer’s wallet received 38 transactions worth 16.8 BTC ($588,000). The first of them is dated October 24. The largest one-time transfer was $81,200.
