Ethereum developers have launched the Dencun update on the Goerli test network.
This update will enable proto-dunksharding (EIP-4844), which will reduce gas costs for L2 solutions.
During the update test there were some errors that the developers were able to fix.
On January 31, the update will be activated in the Sepolia network, and on February 7 in Holesky.
