​ The head of the ECB said that her son lost almost all his money on investments in cryptocurrencies

The head of the European Central Bank, Christine Lagarde, admitted that her son lost almost all the funds he invested in crypto assets.

According to her, he lost about 60% of his investment, although she repeatedly warned him about the risk of digital assets.

She also noted that concerns that private currencies could crowd out public money was one of the reasons the ECB launched its own digital euro project.
