The venture division of the Bitget exchange acquired a controlling stake in The Block publication

A division of the Bitget exchange, Foresight Ventures, has acquired a controlling stake in the cryptomedia The Block.

The Block's valuation was $70 million.

Most of the capital was used to buy out former CEO Mike McCaffrey's stake.

Earlier it became known that McCaffrey secretly financed Alameda Research.
