According to Reventure Consulting, ~25% of sellers reduced the price of their homes in October.
This is significantly higher than last year (~17% at this time) and than in 2021 (~8%).
However, home prices are down only ~6% from their all-time high.
Even with historically low inventory levels, 25% of sellers are cutting prices.
This is another evidence of how weak the demand for housing is now from buyers.
