Napoli issued a statement in which the club disputed an article by Il Corriere dello Sport claiming that Rudi Garcia left training early due to rain.
A Rome newspaper reported this morning that the French coach left the training ground early this morning to watch the game from his office during a downpour, while Aurelio De Laurentiis and the coaching staff remained on the touchline.
Napoli clarifies that the article published today by the newspaper Il Corriere dello Sport and then published on the official website of the same newspaper and other sites regarding Garcia's supposed return to the office during yesterday's training is not true.
“The coach led the whole training session continuously from the field.”
