Newcastle are considering Julian Nagelsmann as a possible replacement for Eddie Howe.
The head coach of the German national team has not yet decided whether he wants to return to work with the club or sign a new contract.
Nagelsmann is signed to the same agency as Newcastle's Fabian Scher.
